What a lovely gem of a place ! It is very Portuguese and built from an old historical royal property. The decor is well preserved. The hosts made us feel like visiting dignitaries. The breakfast was a wonderful buffet of freshly homemade cakes and breads, cheeses and nice just grilled chorizo. There is artwork by the owner through the building. There is a lovely rooftop terrace to look at the city and the ocean. Bedrooms were modern and clean and the shower was great.

This place offered a beautiful and comfortable stay. The villa was very tastefully decorated by the owner. Guilherme was a great host throughout, and it was a pleasure to have him there and very nice to converse with him.
The villa was located perfectly to avoid the chaos of the nightlife of the city and yet accessible on foot within a few minutes. The tunnel beach is nearby.
The rooms were comfortable and were cleaned everyday.
Breakfast was good, especially loved the orange brownies!
The rooftop terrace offered the best sunset view and was such a nice and quite space. I appreciated this place in Albufeira more than anything else. Thank you for the kindness and making the stay so memorable :)

I confirmed other reviews that recommended this place because it was silent (without noise) but still very close to the busy streets and live music, etc. I wold come back

Guilherme was very helpful and he was a great host. The lady who was preparing the breakfast was very friendly. We were very happy with the room and everything. If we visit Albufeira again Vila Algarvia is the place to stay for us. Thank you for everything!

Excellent location, close to the beach and the center of the town, pleasant and familiar accomodation. Our host was friendly and helped us a lot in arrival, parking, made suggestions about local trips, cuisine and restaurants. Very pleasant experience overall.

When my partner and I landed at the airport, guilherme kindly sent me a message advising us that if we need any help with directions, we are to let him know. Guilherme sent the location along with restaurant and excursion recommendations. I wouldn't wait long for a response when help was required. He gave us a tour around the apartments and offered us a complimentary welcome drink which was so nice! The view from the roof terrace was stunning, there was even sun loungers up there along with a few tables and chairs. My partner and I would sit up there for an hour or so admiring the view before heading out for the evening.The room exceeded my expectations! It was clean and had a large bed as requested with a spacious bathroom, the shower is great! It's in a nice quiet location, within walking distance to the town centre. The set up for breakfast was lovely, it had a warm homely and calm feeling to the place.

The owner is a very nice person who loves his hotel and his guests. The hotel itself is a beautiful work of art and gives positive emotions. The location and the view from the terrace is wonderful. As is the whole atmosphere in this hotel!

Unexpected "art gallery" - never seen anything like that in a guest house. the roof top view amazing. The owner and his staff were very friendly and welcoming. They gave lots of advice on what to do and where to go.

Free public parking on the street with lots of parking spots (it could be more occupied during the day due to people coming to the beach and parking here). Super nice and friendly host, who will walk you around the villa, tell you some stories about it and also give you many recommendations for restaurants and what to see in the area. Spacey terrace on the roof with stunning view over the town and sea, and with small tables and chairs to enjoy it. We were leaving very early in the morning and the host prepared huge breakfast to go for us. Very good location - right at the edge of the historical city center, close to bars, restaurants and beach, but at the same time there is no disturbing noise from the street.

The owner was so welcoming and friendly. He gave us excellent recommendations for trips and sight seeing. Over all the service is just amazing. We loved the style of the house, which is very unique and personal. And the breakfast was also nice, especially the home made jams and cakes.
Central, but away from the busy night life and a 3min walk to the beach.

Excellent host, separate rooms with en-suite bathrooms. 2 minute walk to downtown Albufeira. Beautiful rooftop terrace. Airconditioning in the room, peaceful area. Breakfast with local products.

Our stay at Vila Albufiera was the most comfortable and welcoming experience. The location is very convenient with easy access to beaches, restaurants, the marina and activities. Our time here was the most enjoyable of any while in Portugal.
The proprietors take exceptional care of the guests and beautiful property. They provide a lovely start of your day with a delicious homestyle breakfast. I highly recommend Vila Albufiera.

The property was quirky but lovely. Spotlessly clean, really nice location. Staff, particularly Guilleme were more than helpful. Room fairly basic with bigger than average bed and super shower. Views were wonderful too. Breakfast was basic continental but the addition of homemade cakes and marmalade and freshly squeezed orange juice each morning made it feel special. The owners art all around the house were a nice addition too.

Absolutely beautiful place in a lovely.part of Albufeira. We got a great welcome from the host Guilherme . He showed us all the art work done by his friend the owner of the house. It s within walking distance from everything but despite this it is very quiet at night so you will get a good night's sleep. There are spectacular views of Albufeira from the rooftop. We have been to Albufeira a few times and this was the best place we have stayed and we are looking forward to returning. Spotlessly clean , lovely staff and very relaxing.

The host was extremely helpful and friendly, not just about the accommodation but local information and helping organising outings etc. . The venue was a creative and welcoming space. I intend to return and would recommend it highly.

Amazing location, great views from the roof, clean, comfortable and with a delicious breakfast. Guilhermes was a lovely host. The owners art on the walls and in the rooms is interesting to view and the decor is very nice.

This was a gem. The view was spectacular. The manager was wonderful and kept in contact with us when we needed to be late. The location was wonderful and we could walk lots of places. The breakfast was amazing and homemade! The rooms were small but had everything you needed. There was a common room where you could grab coffee or tea anytime but everyone came there for breakfast and it was wonderful. There was an open roof too with an amazing view you could go to where the sun rises were awesome. If you love art, this is another reason to go here. The owner is an artist and has much displayed in the common area along with another floor with quite a library if you want to relax. The host/ manager helped us know what to do in the area. I felt like we found the perfect little place. We loved it and would recommend it and go back if we could.

Very good location, close to the center, but in a quiet area. Very interesting decor inside the building, lots of works of art made in various techniques. On the roof of the building there is a large terrace where you can relax. Public, free parking right behind the building. The host, Guilherme, very nice and helpful. Even before arriving, he contacted me via WhatsApp and provided a lot of useful information. He shared the addresses of restaurants where they serve the best dishes and recommended the most beautiful beaches in the area. Also, I was offered a better room. Breakfast fresh and delicious, cake baked on site (fantastic orange crumble!).

This property is teally hard to fault and a hidden gem in the heart of Albufeira. We had such a warm welcome and we're made to feel at home, rooms were lovely and absolutely spotless in fact the attention to detail by the cleaning staff was amazing. The decor is unusual but perfectly suites the atmosphere, breakfast was continental style with plenty of freshly made Portuguese dishes. Guilherme was such a lovely host and full of facts about the accommodation, simply amazing

Lovely art all around the building. Nice view from rooms and roof. Ok breakfast. Close for town/ beach although at top of hill so quite a long walk back up. Very friendly/helpful person who checked us in.

Fabulous location, just up the hill from the town. Lovely little roof top with views out to the ocean. Also another outdoor area for eating breakfast. Host was very accessible and accommodating. Felt like a small little community in the way it has been set up. Nice vibe and atmosphere.

Location and family feel made it a very comfortable stay. Staff are very attentive and strive to make the visit memorable. Hard to beat.
